Dubstep. A combination of two words, and two genres:
Birthed by a man who went by the name Skream, Dubstep is an underrated and poorly understood genre.
This playlist is filled with what I describe as “deep dub” – not that Skrillexxxxx sound that we all know from 2011 – but the “purple” sounds from before and after that era.
Dubstep as a genre has lots of fukup moozik, and you’ll see that some of the tracks on this playlist also feature in the classics.
Especially good for working and as a topic of marijuana induced discussion.
